We got married here 2 years ago so returned today for a little trip down memory lane. Had a lovely panini and coffee sat outside the cafe looking at the Beautiful scenes out over the lake. So pretty.

After many years probably 25, dogs at long last allowed in the cafe! Trade must have been lost because after walking and then returning to put your dog in the car it was too much to return to the cafe also if hot you wouldn't leave a dog in the car, anyway. Had a nice cup of coffee and cake which was good. The various lunch snacks on offer looked good to. Lovely place to walk you don't have to go just to the main car park. Take the road before and keep going so that you see the Lake at a different point also bird life is different. One year a rare duck appeared which bought a lot of excitement although one cynic said it had probably come from an Avery. That apart , there are some super walks then back to the cafe! The Sunday carvery is good too.
